Abstract

The work includes a proposal for the implementation of integrating actions aimed at capacity building for environmental management from the university-government-business link for sustainable local development. As a novel aspect in the research, the UG stands out in the government management system based on science, communication and innovation in the strategic sectors, prioritized and semi-arid areas, in correspondence with the current demands of the 2030 Agenda, for sustainable development. The result presented has contributed to the formation of capacities from environmental management, fostering the Government-University-Company link, raising the preparation of professionals, the perception of environmental risks, prevention of disasters due to natural, technological and health causes, food security and the solution of environmental problems, based on its corporate purpose.
