Abstract

The research presented reads about the issue of Environmental Education in multigrade educational institutions located in the Alejandro de Humboldt National Park. The main objective of the research is the elaboration of a pedagogical conception. It is based on theoretical-methodological foundations, on the social character of education, the necessary environmental education in the protected area, as the main way in the school-protected area relationship. Methods and techniques of educational research were used, a methodology inserted in the management plan is offered based on the pedagogical conception of environmental education – protected areas in multigrade primary schools, which is based on its structural and functional components. The evaluation of the results of the proposal was submitted to the criteria of specialists and was validated, preliminarily, through a pre-experiment, which demonstrated the viability, feasibility and effectiveness of the methodology developed.
