Abstract

This work refers to some considerations about environmental resilience as a necessary practice for adaptation to climate change and improving the living conditions of producers. The objective of the research is to propose actions that contribute to enhancing the environmental resilience of producers in order to achieve adaptation, face the crisis and achieve environmental balance, increasing food security in the Municipality of El Salvador, applied in the Pedro Agustín Pérez Credit and Services Cooperative, of the Popular Council of Sempré. Theoretical and empirical methods were used from a dialectical materialist perspective, as well as the techniques of documentary analysis, participant observation, survey, interview, problem tree. The diagnosis made made it possible to determine the need to enhance resilience as a tool to achieve adaptation and recovery of both ecological and socio-economic and human systems.
