Abstract

The results of the Project for the development of human resources, being carried out by the Guantánamo University of Medical Sciences, are presented. The understanding of the role of human resources in health services plays a very important role in environmental wellbeing, a subject on which a study has been carried out since 2021. Using empirical, theoretical and mathematical methods, primary information was obtained on the state of environmental wellbeing, its relationship with human health, as well as the role of professionals carrying the human resources of health services in its realization. From scientific observation and bibliographic research on the subject, the scientific problem was identified: how to contribute to the impact of human resources on environmental wellbeing for sustainable local development? The solution suggested a policy of actions favoring the positive impact of human resources of health services on environmental wellbeing in Guantánamo.
