Abstract

The research was carried out in Pinus cubensis Griseb forests, in the period from Agost 2016 to January 2018 with the aim of evaluating the influence of a fire. To determine the fire behavior parameters, three 10 m2 plots were installed, the amount of combustible material through the method of the 1m2 plot. The fire behavior parameters were for a low intensity fire. The fire decreased the amount of combustible material in the order of 84.3%, affected part of the shrub layer. In the burned area 540 days after the fire, an average of 14 individuals per hectare were observed.
