Abstract

In this work a study of the charge in the most consuming electric machines of the Graphic UEB Juan Marinello is carried out with the objective of substituting them for asynchronous machines of high efficiency, increasing the indicators of efficiency of the working machines and of the UEB in general. For such purpose the monitoring of the principal electric machines of the areas of conversion, impression and graphic bookbinding was applied using a net analyzer, defining that in most cases they are underutilized and suggesting their replacement. An economic and environmental analysis was also applied which helps to diminish electric power demand and the emission of greenhouse effect gasses. In the future, when we replace the 15 machines chosen there will be a consumption reduction of about 25 MWh in a year of work.
