The agro-ecological culture of the inhabitants of the coastal communities of Maisi

In the present article a plan of actions is offered to improve the preparation of agricultural producers of the community of Punta de Maisí, to develop the formation of an agro-ecological culture. This is a work tool that serves the managers, workers and students of the University Center which has as an object the educational work in the communities, contributing to decrease the affectations caused by the employment of suitable practices in the coastal communities. The applied methods allowed to determine the historical, sociological and psychological references that base the treated topic, its initial state and the evaluation of the application of the proposal. The actions are based on the principles proposed by FAO in 1981 for agroecology. The active interaction between the students of the engineering career is materialized.Downloads
