Multimedia "The Toa Basin: A place to conserve"

Abstract

A multimedia that contains a description of the Toa basin was designed and its protected areas, with images of the living fauna and flora species; in addition to this, maps with the types of soils and other predominant characteristics in the area, with hyperlinks that refer to other pages where detailed explanations about the area are offered. Mediator 8 and Magic Flare software were used to design the multimedia. This work was developed with the objective of designing a tool that facilitates the dissemination, the transfer of knowledge and which contributes to the basin care, through a work of awareness of the inhabitants, especially children.
