Abstract

This investigation was carried out at the Mountain Development Center, El Salvador, Guantanamo Province, from April to May 2014, with the objective of evaluating the application of a mixture of oligogalacturonides on the growth and development of the mint, a medicinal specie, under semi-controlled conditions. It was used a fully randomized design with three replicates by treatment. The treatments in different aqueous solutions of the product up to the concentrations of 10mg.L-1 and 20mg.L-1 were used in two forms: inhibition of the cuttings of the plant during 24 hours in solutions of the mixture of oligogalacturonidos up to the concentrations of 10mg.L-1 and 20mg.L-1, and aspersion. Distilled water was used as a control. Data were processed using simple classification variance analysis and the media were compared through the Tukey test to a 5% error probability.
