Abstract

The work has been carried out from January to March 2017 in the Preservation Departments of Baracoa, La Melba and Ojito de Agua, with the objective of scheduling the fruit plantations in the traditional places of Alejandro de Humboldt National Park. An experimental design has been carried out for the fruit trees stocktaking and there have been reported twelve botanical families, fifteen genders and 22 species. At a gender level, the citric has the most representative role due to the 6 species found. The fruit trees which were scheduled by their application denote that 67.53% constitutes a source of medicine, 40.8% is used on the cosmetics production, 11.59% provides wood and 7.07% has an ornamental value. The majority of the species is also used for human consumption and fauna which represents 100% of the population.
