Strengthening of the communitary leaders' self managment at Valle del Perú rural community. Training program.

Abstract

The present investigation was developed after analyzing the diagnosis applied to the communitary leaders of Valley del Peru on their capacity of self-management given in function of the community development. Based on the deficiencies identified through the diagnosis, it is proposed as objective to design a training program for the strengthening of the communitary leaders' self-management. The study is supported on the research-action-participation methodology, based on the recognition of knowledge, attitudes and practices. From the empirical level there were applied the survey, interviews to key informants, participant observation, triangulation and research workshops. It is based on the model of community management for the local human development, where all social actors must work in terms of the integration and community participation to become an intelligent settlement, with the vision of the triple helix for the local development, in which there is an influence of the community, the government and the university.
