Soil sampling, premise for the efficient use of fertilizers in sugarcane areas.
Keywords:
soil fertilizers, agricultural ecosystems, sugarcane areasAbstract
In order to evaluate the quality of soil sampling and its influence on the fertility of the sugarcane areas, a 10% monitoring of the total area to be fertilized was carried out, from the Basic Cooperative Production Unit (UBPC), Ãlvaro Reynoso, belonging to the Guantanamo Sugar Company, in soil Sialitized Calcium; with an extension of 36.23 ha. Two treatments and five replications were used, the variables evaluated were: soil nutrient contents, phosphorus extraction index, agricultural yield. It was verified that there is a lack of correspondence in the quality of soil sampling performed by the producer, variations in the recommendations of phosphorus in 46% and 55.6% of soil nutrient content (p, k, pH), affectation on the phosphorus extraction index and agricultural yield when applying doses of 25 kg.ha-1 of P2O5. Therefore, the use of 40 kg.ha-1 of P2O5 leads to greater economic and productive responses.Downloads
