Methodology for the university management with prospective focus to the local development in Guantanamo.

Abstract

The research was developed in 2014 as part of the integration process of the Higher Education in Guantanamo province. The prospective method was used to carry out the university management process linked to the strategic planning of the integrated university. It was made a complete characterization of the organization´s research object; formulation of the Mission and shared values, conceptualization and ways of acting and the strategic diagnostic (DAFO in Spanish). The methodology served to determine the main strengths, debilities and its diagnostic phase served as base to assess the change potentialities in the integration of the three CES.
