Approach to the environmental situation of the Guantanamo – Guaso Hydrographic Basin.

Abstract

A study of the Guantanamo – Guaso Hydrographic Basin was made, where the main entities and organisms of the territory were detected that even affect environmentally the basin Guantánamo - Guaso, in the same one the entities are identified in a map 1:100 000. Starting from the pH values obtained in rain samples gathered in some areas of the basin it was determined the acidity level and alkalinity of this samples. For the realization of the investigation different methods of the theoretical and empiric level were used that facilitated to arrive to such conclusions as the entities don't have treatment systems for the liquid residuals that spill to the basin.
