Abstract

The annual training for technical herbicides of Sugar Business Group is vital because of the dynamism that is accountable to the infestation in sugarcane fields by various weeds. The Integral Weed Control course is carried out for specialists and technicians from the provinces Guantanamo and Santiago de Cuba in November 2014, involving 58 students, of them a 40.39% between 1 and 5 years of experience. Evaluations conducted before and after the course showed that the course participants raised the cognitive level of the subjects taught. The brainstorming generated 18 opinions, enunciating deficiencies that affect the work and were processed statistically by the Matrix of Vester establishing the cause-effect relationship between the variables. With the results of the evaluations, analyzes made and criteria of the producers on the positive, negative and interesting the training process was evaluated of satisfactory.
