Abstract

It was determined the cost of establishment of plantations of Rhizophora mangle for the pregerminative method in areas of the coast of the Guantanamo Bay and belonging to the Business Unit of the Silvicutural Base of Caimanera for the period 2012-2014. It was drawn the pregerminative method for the reforestation of Rhizophora mangle and the consumables, tools and materials were determined as well as the operative time for each phase and work of the process of establishment of the plantation of Rhizophora mangle starting from the elaboration of the technological letters and the cost record. The technical and economic efficiency of the pregerminative method was evaluated according to the behavior of the achievement and survival of the established plantation and of the registered economic benefit.
