Abstract

The work was carried out with the objective to study the grouping of different types of soils according to the chemical properties. The information from the analytic results of the superficial horizon correspondent to 21 profiles of the Geographical Experimental Network of INICA and classified according to the Second Genetic Classification of Soils of Cuba. They were taken data of the analytic determinations of the pH (H20) and PH (KCl), hydrolytic acidity, changeable cations, organic matter and trace elements Fe, Zn, Mn and Cu. The results show the formation of 4 groups of soil. The variables that conditioned the differentiation between the groups were Fe, Mn, Cu and Na. This work permits present recommendations for an agronomic integral handling of soils according to the chemical properties, directed fundamentally according to the use of nutritional variants.
