Abstract

An investigation of the cases admitted in the period from January to March 2008. Patients with Grave Complicated Malaria in ICU 37 Military Hospital in Accra Ghana, where various clinical, laboratory determined and / or parasitological was performed that have been associated with poor prognosis or increased severity of infection. A population of 10 patients were managed, applying the same regimen, adjusting a treatment protocol and well-defined criteria for asserting their diagnosis which is considered to constitute a guide for accurate, timely diagnosis and appropriate therapeutic management with to standardize a single protocol in the performance of the employees of the Cuban medical brigade in all regions where Laborem in the world and the Ghanaian medical personnel interested in it.
