Abstract

The article present the main physical geographical characteristics of the Sierra de Nipe, located on north-eastern mountains of Oriente Cuba. Describe the best vegetable formations, outstanding the floristic elements that it’ s formed. The result is an Checklist of the endemic plants of this important range of the cuban islands, key site of the biodiversity of the Caribbean Islands. The list indicate the endemism and conservation status of the species, according to the last Red List of the cuban flora by Areces Berazaín et al, 2007.
