Abstract

The land required for the sugar sector organizational restructuring, increased yields and substantial use of information, to facilitate handling of soils types, their productive potential, limiting soil factors and central location close to, required the used of the Geographic Information Systems and specialized cadastre that respond to the new functional structures. In order to ensure the expertise to enable efficient management for sustainable land management with a significant increase in production and reduce costs, we realized this work in sugar cane-Artemisa Mayabeque territory, occupied various conditions of terrain and climate; we determined the productive potential of the land used for farming and the limiting soil factors, which ensured the successful use of land, all of which led to the necessary land.
