Abstract

The study was done in the swamp forest, which belongs to Caimanera Forestry Base Company, located in the xerophitic corridor ( south coast), from January to December 2013, with the objective of doing a participative biophysical diagnosis in the swamp forest, characterized by a marked deterioration, mainly by the anthropic action. The chemist-physical conditions were characterized, it was also evaluated the different dasometric items, regeneration, mortality, besides pH and salinity of the water, as well as the influence of the main problems starting from the Vester matrix. As the main results, it was obtained that the littoral from Caimanera presents a marked deterioration due to the irrational use of the resources of the ecosystem and other natural events, such as the indiscrimiated cutting,insufficient action of the forest. Within the most important results it was obtained that the swamp forest in Caimanera ranger body, unfulfilling of the existent laws, the proliferation of micro dump.
