Abstract

Research at the Center Vivarium Mountain Development, El Salvador, Guantanamo province. The blue scorpion reproduction in captivity is very difficult to develop. Each female Scorpio has around 42 to 47 pups per litter, which die easily in the laboratory. Cuban labs release large amounts of these pups given the difficult nature of their successful adaptation to captivity. In order to conduct the evaluation of the reproduction of the Rhopalurus junceus species in the captive hatchery were separated by sex and females were observed to determine whether or not they were breeding, assembling a database. Results of the investigation as introductions to the natural environment of the species Rhopalurus junceus were performed with a total of 8512 copies in 2012 and until the month of junio/2013 1656 copies.
