Evaluation of multimedia "Meet the Coconut" as a means of socialization of coconut cultivation.

Abstract

Motivated by the decrease in the tradition of the people of Baracoa municipality, in relation to the cultivation of coconut, this paper was developed during the period September 2011 - May 2012, with the objective to assess the knowledge acquired by students in two study centers Baracoa municipality, from the introduction of multimedia "Meet the coconut tree." We worked with grades seventh, eighth and ninth Joint Center ruber Lopez and junior high "Ruben Martinez Villena". Training workshops were conducted, which allowed us to evaluate the impact of the introduction of multimedia techniques were used for this observation and exchange of students and coordinator. The results indicated the acceptance, integration, training and motivation of the participants with regard to culture, as well as the orientation and depth of the subject in the students.
