Abstract

It was developed an educative work with students from the basic level aimed at modifying their knowledge about AIDS. The universe was made up by 60 adolescents which were about 15-18 years old. It was applied an inquiry about this illness and it was done an educative program according to the learning necessities which were identified, the impact of the educative work was evaluated by applying the same inquiry four weeks later, and there were obtained positive results due to a change in the level of knowledge and the perception of risk about the AIDS, being evident a percent of variation of 155 and p statistically significative. The date were analyzed by means of computation methods and presented on statistical tables, the percentage as a comparison method, and the statistical differences were analyzed by means of test of Mcnemar. The presentation of the work was done taking as point of departure the different findings and the study of the sources
