Abstract

It was elaborated a Macro Project for the production of foods of animal origin from the community starting from existent local resources, with focus of gender and sustainability. It is executed in the Guantanamo Municipality, provincial top part and it include varied of its more complex Popular Council, its yards, parcels and suburban farmsteads. Integrated for several interrelated projects it is able to balance out cycles, extending throughout from the production of food for the animals until the commercialization of the products and the use of the residues and waste for the formation of grounds or biogas' production. With a solid activity of motivation, capacitating and training of neighbours, producers and their families, it has been possible to increment the production of food of substantial form, in accord with the environment and in a sustainable form, which permits concluding us that it is a feasible project for the new times.
