Abstract

In order to give effect to the objectives of the Course Program Nursing Care and Community gynecologists in
Newborn care, including the sample of the heel to the realization of Phenylketonuria and its four determinations such as: biotinidase deficiency, galactosemia, and hypothyroidism Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia in the Child, and knowing the non-existence of bibliographies with this content, a group of teachers gave us the task of conducting a literature review and organize them by theme to make the third-year students of the School of Nursing Bachelor of updated and ownership of the knowledge necessary to perform this technique, and thus contribute to their professional work to a definitive diagnosis and prompt treatment for the prognosis in these children is as favorable as possible. Also formed a glossary with words peculiar to these issues.
