Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the effect of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) application on the growth and yield of potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) crops at the "17 de Mayo" Agricultural Production Cooperative, located in the Caujerí Valley production area of the municipality of San Antonio del Sur. The Alouette potato variety, developed by the Hatuey Indian Institute, was used. Fertilization was applied as a base dressing at transplanting with a complete NPK formula, as specified in the technological package for all treatments. The results showed that the application of the Glomus cubense AMF strain and the control group exhibited the best growth and yield values for the Alouette potato variety in the Caujerí

Valley, with a yield of 18.8 t ha⁻¹ and profits of $233,900.
