As part of the actions of the international project "Resilient Caribbean Communities" (CCR), research was conducted in Polygon 4, Baracoa. This area is located within the Cuthill’s Toa Biosphere Reserve, To achieve results, Landscape Geoecology tools were used, which allowed for the identification, classification, and mapping of landscape units. The vertical, horizontal, and functional structure was also analyzed, along with synthetic indicators of stability and sensitivity, culminating in a diagnosis of the geoecological state. It was identified that the characteristics and heterogeneity of the landscapes in the studied areas are fundamentally conditioned by their geological-geomorphological, which determines the existence of eight first-order units, with a predominance of humid mountain landscapes. Finally, the geoecological diagnosis was carried out, revealing that an area of 2,407 hectares, equivalent to 68.1% of the total area, is diagnosed as optimized, while 1,128 hectares, equivalent to 31.9% of the total area, are in a compensated state
