Abstract

In the article, a set of reflections and conceptions were proposed that allow orienting the service towards eco-stomatology; Through research methods of theoretical and empirical, quantitative and qualitative knowledge, proposals are made that reduce the environmental impact of hazardous waste from dental procedures; ideas are presented for the preparation of the comprehensive management of hazardous waste; Due to its flexibility, its breadth, its depth, its parsimony, and its logical consistency, together with tangible and intangible benefits, it becomes a process innovation in the environmental dimension. It is recommended to generalize the proposed methodological instruments as a reference of good practices of the stomatological services to meet the current demands of the Cuban health system.
